Another day with the ventilator

The day started out pretty well. They decided to lighten up on the sedation and let Isy start waking up. We hoped to have the tube (the vent) out by the afternoon but the day didn't proceed as planned. She had more bleeding while in that semi-awake state and so the tube had to stay in and they heavily sedated her again. She was awake enough to smile at us and shake her head yes or no. This gave us some reassurances although overall we are discouraged tonight and hope and pray for a better day tomorrow.
